When the group of individuals that would become Mistral Architectural Metal first came to me they brought an NDA. They were three men working for three different firms and afraid of their secret getting out.
They had a name and a vision of a strong identifiable emblem with a pop. We went through several iterations of the logo, some that acknowledge the “strong wind” aspects of their name, others that spoke to the drafting side of architecture but ultimately decided that a company responsible for architectural metal and glass should have a logo that is strong and unyielding.
It was also important to have a website as strong and bold as the Mistral logo. Striking photographs of their impeccable work would ultimately be their best salesman. A clean and simple site design would make sure the customer would be drawn solely to their craftsmanship.
